Its time for a new sketch of the week and blog candy winner! I hope you are inspired by this sketch below and our stamps.

(editors note: We publish a new sketch every monday in our swedish blog as well as layouts and cards every day, but we are unfortunately not very good at making sure the same material pop up in the english blog. If you come here and don’t find anything new I hope you are brave to enter our swedish blog and have a look there. And remember that our webshop accepts PayPal and ships worldwide…)

So this is my sketch. I hope you like it. I was inspired to do a card and using the sketch in a little different way. A very free interpretation one could say :) The circles represents the squares in the sketch.

I’ve used word texture, star texture rectangle, grunge edge and splatter texture rectangle for the background. I’ve then embossed circle large, circle medium and circle smallest with embossing powder Orange ya happy. The spotted splattery effect with the embossing is attained by pouring the powder on to the card before all stamp colors have dried completely when doing the background.

I hope you like the sketch and my card! If you are inspired please post a comment with a link to your creations or email us so we can have a look.

And on to revealing the winner of the very popular blog candy!

The winner is…

Lots of hugs and a big congratulation to you! :)

We have just released a new version of an old favourite Majaroni stamp. The old Majaroni stamps are the first we made and their quality cannot be compared to what Tingtura Design produce today. This is why we are releasing these new “best of Majaroni” stamps using old images but improving the quality a LOT (through some high tech computer wizarding Adobe-fu).

Fairy with flower is first to hit the shelves.

To celebrate this first “best of Majaroni” stamp we offer you some blog candy :)

What you need to do is:

- Show the image below in your blog

- Link back to our blog

- Comment on this post with a link to your blog and tell us which stamp from the old Majaroni Fairytale sets you would like to see as a new “best of” stamp.

Do this before midnight sunday 26th of july and you might win the lottery of ALL FIVE brand new stamps from last week (one lottery ticket per person).

Wait? Was there more new stamps than the Fairy? Four new Urban stamps by Niklas Mårdby of course :) Let me show you how much fun you can have with them.

Bienvenue means Welcome in french. This card was sent to our first french retailer as a little welcome to the growing Tingtura family.

On this card I’ve used the new version of Fairy with flower. The cute fairy is colored with Copics. The new stamps used are Splatter Texture Rectangle (also available as circle), Star Texture Rectangle and Star Texture Circle. These new Urban stamps are so much fun to play with! I’ve also used some old favourites: Dotted Circle Small (the circle stamps fits perfectly on your punched Retro Flowers!), Butterfly, Grunge Edge, Word Texture and Heart full of Grunge. The butterfly is embossed with lovely Sweet Heart. I also like our new grey drops that fit the grungy flowers.

I hope you like all our new stamps and good luck in the blog candy lottery! :D

My mother is very important to me and we are very close. We currently live very far apart but speak on the phone at least once a day, which we have since I moved out. I am very happy with how this photo turned out. I took it last Christmas and wanted to do something special with it that symbolize mum. I’ve chosen colors for the layout that fit her. When I saw that pink-purple paper I knew right away what I wanted to do with it.

I chose to do the layout clean and simple with few decorations. The decoration in the close-up is the stamp scallop journaling small and buttons with tulle attached.

It’s only a few days until easter! I don’t usually send easter cards but I made one for a special friend :)

For this card I used Lovis and Bubbly from journaling #1

Already a new month and time for another challenge!

This is what you’re gonna do:

- Create something inspired by the sketch
- Use at least one stamp from Tingtura (no other material limits)
- Send your contribution (one per person) to latest 30 of April

The winner gets a gift voucher worth 100 SEK!

Here are two interpretations of the sketch:

For this layout I made my own background using Dots several times with a watermark stamp pad and then embossed with clear powder. The journaling spot is Scallop Small and I stamped it with StazOn on a piece of clear plastic. The red hearts will soon appear in the webshop too.

For the card I used one of our big sellers Girl hugging Heart and she is colored with distress ink. On the big flower I stamped Bubbel wrap Medium and on the small flower its Dotted circle small. Then I sprayed them with a few different mists. Stamping and spraying flowers is such a simple technique and it gives them so much more life! We have lots of texture stamps you should try this with.

Today I made a LO with some older photos, usually when I scrap I tend to use the most recent photos. But sometimes you have to dig a bit further in your photo stack. I found these photos from 2 years ago, and I still remeber how much fun we had blowing bubbles. And if I still remeber an every dag happening from 2 years ago it meens that I have to scrap them! :D

For this LO Dots fitted perfectly, and so did Star swirl long wich I used on the edge and one of those must have journaling stamps Circle lined

It’s monday again and time for a new sketch! Hope it will inspire you :)

I’ve made a layout and a card inspired by the sketch

On the layout I’ve used Lined Rectangle Spot och fish from Maja’s Friends.

For the card I used Bunny buddies from Filiona and some of our swedish text stamps (du är söt = you are cute). The bunnies are colored with ProMarkers. The blue bunny is a little embarassed by what the pink bunny is saying so it got a little pink dry chalk on it’s cheak. :)

Last week Sofie was one of many who was inspired by our sketch and sent a photo of her creation to us. Isn’t it a beautiful card?

If you make something inspired by the sketch please send it to us at or show it on our message board.
